At Merritt Chiropractic in Stuart Dr. Jason Townsley passionately cares for members of the Treasure Coast community. His life was changed by chiropractic care as a child and excitedly shares that opportunity with children and families in Stuart.

Having spent the first 13 years of his life with allergies, asthma, and being diagnosed with a weak immune system life was far from ideal. After his mother’s successful experience with chiropractic care she decided to get Dr. Jason adjusted too. Soon after starting care Dr. Jason’s health issues started to lessen in severity until eventually they were resolved. In astonishment all the doctors said they could not explain how his health had improved so dramatically and quickly. As a result of the dramatic change in Dr. Jason’s health and life he consciously decided to do whatever it took to become a chiropractor. This goal was so he could help children and families who were suffering from health issues that could be helped through chiropractic care instead of managing symptoms poorly with drugs and medicine, as was his experience.

Having grown up in Washington State in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains Dr. Jason enjoys being outside, working with his hands, and spending time with his family. On his journey to become a practicing chiropractor in Stuart Dr. Jason has fought forest fires, worked in land management, construction, landscaping, commercial kitchens, and much more. His “whatever it takes” attitude shows in how he serves Stuart through chiropractic.

When not serving the Stuart community you will regularly find Dr. Jason boating, fishing, biking, and enjoying the beautiful place we live. Dr. Jason is a Merritt Family member through his marriage and serves the community with his wife Dr. Nicole E. Townsley, who practices in Hobe Sound with her father, Dr. Stephen W. Merritt.
